Cabinet Refinishing & Lacquer
Transform Your Cabinets Without the Remodel
Professional cabinet refinishing and lacquer finishing that delivers a factory-smooth result at a fraction of the cost of replacement. Kitchens, bathrooms, and built-ins across Greater Los Angeles.
Why Refinish?
A New Kitchen. Same Cabinets.
Cabinet replacement is one of the most expensive home renovations you can undertake. But in most cases, the cabinets themselves are structurally sound — it's just the finish that's worn, dated, or no longer matches your vision. That's where we come in.
Our cabinet refinishing process uses professional-grade lacquer systems to deliver a finish that's smoother, harder, and more durable than what you'd get from a brush-and-roll repaint. The result looks and feels like factory-finished cabinetry — because we use the same materials and techniques.

Our Refinishing Process
Every cabinet refinishing project follows the same meticulous process — no shortcuts, no brush marks, no overspray.
Remove & Label All Doors and Hardware
We carefully remove every door, drawer front, and piece of hardware and label them for precise reinstallation. Nothing gets mixed up.
Clean & Degrease All Surfaces
Kitchen cabinets accumulate grease and residue over time. We thoroughly clean and degrease every surface to ensure the new finish bonds properly.
Sand & Prepare
We sand all surfaces to the correct profile, fill any dents or imperfections, and apply a bonding primer formulated for cabinetry.
Spray Apply Lacquer Topcoats
Using professional spray equipment, we apply multiple coats of lacquer in a controlled environment. Spray application eliminates brush marks and delivers a perfectly even finish.
Light Sand Between Coats
Each coat is lightly sanded before the next is applied, building up a smooth, hard finish with excellent depth and clarity.
Reinstall & Final Inspection
We reinstall all doors and hardware, adjust hinges for perfect alignment, and do a thorough final inspection with you to ensure every detail is right.
Scope
What We Refinish
Kitchen Cabinets
Upper and lower cabinets, island faces, and pantry doors. The most popular refinishing project — and the one with the biggest visual impact.
Bathroom Vanities
Vanity cabinets and medicine cabinet frames refinished to match your bathroom's updated look.
Built-In Shelving & Millwork

Two-Tone Finishes
A popular design choice — different colors on uppers and lowers, or a contrasting island. We handle the masking and transitions with precision.
Color Changes
Going from oak to white, or from white to a deep navy or sage green? We can take your cabinets to any color with a flawless lacquer finish.
Options
Finish Options
We offer a range of lacquer finishes to suit every style and preference.
Satin
The most popular choice. A soft, low-sheen finish that's elegant and easy to keep clean.
Semi-Gloss
A step up in sheen — slightly more reflective and very durable. Great for high-use kitchens.
High-Gloss
A mirror-like finish for a bold, contemporary look. Requires the most precise surface prep.
Matte
A flat, modern finish with no sheen. Increasingly popular for contemporary and Scandinavian-inspired kitchens.
The Difference
Why Lacquer?
Not all cabinet refinishing is created equal. Many painters use standard wall paint or alkyd enamel on cabinets — products that chip, yellow, and show brush marks over time. We use professional lacquer systems specifically formulated for cabinetry. Lacquer cures harder, bonds better, and can be sprayed to a perfectly smooth finish that brush-applied products simply can't match.
Harder cure
Lacquer cures to a harder film than paint, resisting chips, scratches, and everyday wear.
No brush marks
Spray application delivers a perfectly smooth, even surface — impossible with a brush or roller.
Better adhesion
Professional lacquer systems bond to properly prepared wood surfaces far better than standard paints.
Faster cure time
Lacquer dries and cures faster than oil-based paints, meaning less downtime in your kitchen.
